Meet Pablo Cortés

I’ve always been fascinated by how images, sounds, and stories affect our emotions. As kids, my brother and I were obsessive about filming everything.

He gave me the confidence to explore, and the belief that my perspective mattered. This is how I learned the magic of capturing the mundane and turning it into something meaningful.

That early experience grew into real work.

In high school, I was recruited to join the marketing department at my local university after they stumbled across my portfolio, and I gladly stayed in that role through college.

At the same time, I felt called to healthcare.

So I pursued nursing—learning discipline, precision, and what it means to care for people when the stakes are high.

After I graduated I decided to work in critical care, where patient trust and clear communication is crucial.

Along the way, I met my lovely wife, Lexa, and during the COVID-19 surge we had the honor of working the floor together caring for patients.

I was nervous and excited when a unique opportunity presented itself : to blend my digital media and marketing skills with healthcare

I took the uncomfortable risk and didn’t look back—joining one of the largest senior living companies in the nation to build creative media, content strategy, and social media marketing systems at scale.

I reported directly to the co-founder and chief program officer, who mentored me closely. I was also blessed to learn directly from the chief marketing officer, who sharpened my approach to brand and long-term strategy.

That season shaped how I work and it became the foundation for Cortés.
